I beg to acknowledge with thanks the letter from the De-
partment of October the 21st in reference to the vacancy in the
Civil Hospital, Hong Kong, and enclosing a copy of the letter of appointment sent to candidates engaged primarily for private
nursing.
The letter and enclosure were placed before the Nursing Committee this morning when interviewing candidates, and they
comunicated the terms and conditions of the appointment as
stated in paragraph 3.
A suitable nurse was selected, and the Committee are ad-
dressing a further communication to the Department forwarding
her application form und papers.
